As far as daily communication, I will be using a free app called Class Dojo. With this app, the parents are able to see the progress of their student in real time. The teacher is able to add points throughout the day for each student for good and bad behavior. The teacher is able to send pictures of the student through the app. The teacher is able to communicate on the behavior of the child throughout the day.
In addition, I will be sending home a weekly newsletter on the things we learned that week and what to expect the coming week. It will provide any annoucements for the class and any other news that would be important for the parent to know.
